Medical plans are self-funded through the Boys & Girls Club Workers Association. The plans utilize some of the largest leased Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) networks nationwide.

The plans are fully compliant with all the requirements of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) as of January 1, 2011. This means these plans will:

  • Pay 100% of preventive services performed by a Network provider.
  • Have no lifetime limit.
  • Cover dependent children through age 25.
  • Not apply any pre-existing condition limits on children under age 19.
  • Be compliant with all appeals and reporting requirements.
